an Inspirational Humorist. Her
keynote Saturday evening will create “aha” moments that will help attendees
find more fun, laughter and meaning in the lives they’ve already got.
Her keynote address will be titled “Forget Perfect.”
Sunday morning she will present a workshop titled “Forget Perfect
Parenting.” Lisa is the mother of two girls, has been featured in Glamour
and is a card carrying PTA mom! Lisa
combines a dynamic style with thought provoking material from her celebrated
book, FORGET
PERFECT. Her client list includes: Pfizer Inc., Cap Gemini Ernst &
Young, Home Depot, United Health Care, Kimberly-Clark, and St. Mary's Hospital
System. She also works with Women's Organizations, Philanthropic Groups, and
National Associations across the country. Her website is www.forgetperfect.com. will
be the National PTA Representative at the Kansas PTA 2003 Convention.
Paula has been a PTA member for 18 years.
She was elected to National PTA’s Board of Directors at the 105th
Annual Convention in June 2001.
She also serves as chair of the Small States Task Force and as the Easter
Seals liaison. Paula is a past president of Alaska PTA and has served as
National PTA Parent Involvement Commissioner.
She is an adult training coordinator that teaches computer skills as part
of the Workforce Development Initiative.
Paula has been married for 25 years and has three children and one
grandchild and three American Field Service children.
She will present a keynote Saturday morning, a workshop Saturday morning
titled “Building a Diverse PTA” and will co-present at the “Intense
Presidents’ Training” Saturday afternoon.
