Clothing Center Volunteer Schedule and Map

Volunteers from Shawnee Mission Area Council PTA operate the Clothing Center.  The purpose of this center is to help supply the clothing needs of people who live within the boundaries of the Shawnee Mission School District.

The Center is located in the lower level of Arrowhead Elementary School at 6601 Santa Fe Drive in Overland Park.  Clients of the Clothing Center enter through doors near the center front of the building.  There are signs to follow.

We are open every Monday that Shawnee Mission schools are from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.  The second Monday of the month, the Center is only open in the evening to accommodate those people who are unable to shop during the day.  The evening hours are form 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Please note that on the evening shopping days, the 
Clothing Center will NOT be open in the morning.

Any resident of the Shawnee Mission school district who is in need of assistance may "shop" at the Clothing Center.  If you have a child attending a Shawnee Mission school, you should bring a current report card, a referral letter from your current school or school nurse, a card from the ESL office, or some other form of identification.

The Clothing Center receives its clothing from "drives" held by area PTA units.  However, anyone may make donations of gently used items.  Adult and children's clothing items are available to "shoppers" at no charge.  We encourage our Shawnee Mission patrons to come and see what we have to offer.

Donations may be taken to the Clothing Center at any time
during regular school hours from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Bags should be left outside the front office.
Donation slips are available upon request.
