Membership Information
If you have not received your membership cards by the
second week in August, please contact me at the number or email address
listed below so that you can make arrangements to receive them. As
your unit begins membership enlistment and card distribution, please
remember the following:
- If
your unit will NOT be distributing membership cards this year, contact me
at the address below as soon as possible.
- Each
card is to be used for one individual member ONLY.
- Your
unit I.D. number must appear on the membership card. (That number
was distributed with your membership packet. Unit numbers are also
available on correspondence with National PTA.)
- Please
DO NOT fill out membership cards until they are needed. Unused cards
should be returned to the state office, the SMAC President, or me.
- Along
with your membership cards, you were provided with copies of the 2003-04
Kansas State PTA Treasurer’s Remittance form, a copy of the Membership
Packet from the summer mailing, information from the School of
Instruction, and a memo from me.
- Remember:
The state and national portion of membership money is to be sent to the
state office monthly along with the completed Kansas State PTA
Treasurer’s Remittance Form and a list of the names and addresses of
members.
- No
individual is considered a member of PTA until his/her dues have been sent
to the state.
- Please note the following membership deadlines:
October 1, 2004 – Early Membership Award and March
1, 2005 – Last date to receive all other awards.

ideas for planning and enlistment. I look forward to working with
you this year.
